E-E-A-T stands for Experienced, Expected, or Authoritative, Trust.
Google is improving the idea of E-E-A-T by adding an 'E' for the experience. Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness make up the new E-E-A-T formula.
In response, Google's search quality rater instructions have been updated to show how the company tells quality raters to judge the expertise of a content creator.
Google says that Trust is the most important part of E-E-A-T because untrustworthy pages have low E-E-A-T even if they seem Experienced, Expert, or Authoritative.
A quality rater's trust rating is based on their experience, knowledge, and authority.
If you've been following Google's advice about E-E-A-T up to this point, you're well on your way to building the level of trust that Google's quality raters are looking for.
E-E-A-T at a High Level:- Pages with a high E-E-A-T can be trusted or can be trusted a lot. Experience is helpful in almost every area. When people share their experiences in social media posts and forum talks, they are often of high quality. From writing symphonies to reviewing home appliances, first-hand knowledge can make a social media post or discussion page High quality.
High amount of E-E-A-T:- High E-E-A-T is one way to tell which pages are the highest grade. The E-A-A-T of a website or content creator is very high if it is the only place to go for reliable information on a subject. When experience is the main factor in trust, a content writer with a lot of experience may have a very high E-E-A-T. A very high E-E-A-T score can be justified by a very high level of skill. Most people trust websites and content makers with a very high E-E-A-T score when it comes to a certain topic.
Lowest E-E-A-T:- When a page's lowest E-E-A-T E-E-A-T is low enough, people can't or shouldn't use the page's MC. If a page about YMYL issues has a lot of mistakes, it shouldn't be trusted and should be given the lowest rating. Use the lowest rating if the website and the person who made the content have a very bad image, so much so that most people wouldn't trust the page or website.
